NEW Knapper BK8 Carbon Broom

Knapper
$169.99

NEW HARDER HEAD with a bigger 20mm curve!

Ultra-light 100% carbon fiber shaft, allowing a stronger whip, teamed up with our new Power 2.0 head to deliver blistering shots. This new head is going to change the game with wrist shots.

The shaft has a tacky feel.  I would compare it to a grip hockey shaft.

The weight is 515 grams with a 52 inch length.  Very close to the weight of the other carbon broom on the market at 495 grams.

All adult brooms are 52 inch.  You can pull the end cap off and cut it down to your desired length.  You can also make a note in the order on the exact total length of the broom and I will cut it down for you.

This stick feels very light and with the right distribution of weight through the head. The shaft itself has a grippier texture than I realized which took a little getting used to, but isn't a problem. I don't know what the flex rating is specifically, but it is noticeably whippier than my previous stick, the Blue Ox Icon. The jury is still out on the head for me. It has a large surface area and its concave shape makes for easier stickhandling, but the "curve" they've created isn't nearly as useful for elevating wrist shots or passes as your more traditional 10mm or 20mm curved heads. On full swing shots, I'm still finding consistency with it (it's been about 4 weeks of playing 1-2 times per week) and definitely have more errant shots than my previous stick, but when I connect with it properly, it's got some real pop to it. We'll see how it holds up durability-wise, but it definitely seems like a more cost-effective option than the Katana, if you're looking for a carbon shaft.
