Knapper is the parent company to DGel.  The NEW BK6 is a completely different design than past DGel shoes.  The sole is a soft, unsealed bottom with a boot tread style.  The sole is visibly sewn onto the boot.  The toe is very protective and the heel is very protective with a strong counter to hold your foot into place.  This is a narrower fit than the other Dgel models.  Sizing is similar to Dgel shoes.  Slightly smaller because of the narrower fit.  I have wide feet and always wear an 11.  When I put them on they were tight and after playing for 20 minutes they fit like a glove.  The height is a mid height like the DGel Gripper and Tractor.
 
The BK6 sole is for clean dry ice.  You do not want to wear this type of sole on wet ice.  If the sole gets wet, you will loose traction.  
  
Approximate weight of a sz 9 shoe is 484 grams.  

Available in US sizes 1-14.

D-Gel has always made a good shoe from a structural standpoint, now the grip is there to match, as good as if not better than the Hagans in this regard.
