Katana-Flex:  lighter, faster shooting, and tougher.  Fiber and resin have been upgraded and the design now has three-zone construction, allowing Blue OX to tune it similar to a 70 flex hockey stick and place the weight where it is needed most.  Blue Ox doubled the flex, made it 8% lighter, and increased impact resistance of the lower section by 60%.

The Katana Flex shaft is over 25% lighter than the Blue Ox Icon C405 shaft.  A completed 46” Katana weighs about 450 grams.

The Katana Flex shaft is available gray with black logo. 

Available in standard 46 inch or long 52 inch finished lengths with a Blue Ox head installed.  Blue Ox is currently out of the long shafts and is not sure when they will be available.

No returns on brooms, but Blue Ox does have a warranty program.  Blue Ox stands behind their products and if their is any defective broom, you can contact them within 6 months to talk about possible warranty.  The Katana has been on the ice for about a year and I can honestly say that I have not had one complaint about anything.  Blue Ox says their warranty claims are under 5% which is fantastic.
