The best just got even better--the next generation of the Blue Ox Katana is here!  Introducing the Katana-Flex:  lighter, faster shooting, and tougher.  Fiber and resin have been upgraded and the design now has three-zone construction, allowing Blue OX to tune it similar to a 70 flex hockey stick and place the weight where it is needed most.  Blue Ox doubled the flex, made it 8% lighter, and increased impact resistance of the lower section by 60%.

The Katana Flex shaft is over 25% lighter than the Blue Ox Icon C405 shaft.  A completed 52” Katana weighs about 470 grams.

The Katana Flex shaft is available gray with black logo.  

Katana comes with our industry leading Delta head giving players six head color options and four head shapes to choose from (straight and three curves). 

Long brooms are shipped with the head and shaft separate to save you on shipping. UPS has an $18 surcharge for packages over 48 inches. There is 2 sided tape on the shaft.  Pull off the paper wrapper, wet the tape, slide the head on and install the set screw.

No returns on brooms, but Blue Ox does have a warranty program.  Blue Ox stands behind their products and if their is any defective broom, you can contact them within 6 months to talk about possible warranty.  The Katana has been on the ice for about a year and I can honestly say that I have not had one complaint about anything.  Blue Ox says their warranty claims are under 5% which is fantastic.
