This knee shin was designed for DEK Hockey and is similar to current broomball knee/shins.  The quality and fit are fantastic!

Soft-shell with snug fit with sleeve with a PE/LD knee cap and shin pad.  There are 2 velcro elastic straps on the calf for great support and adjust-ability.  

Sizes: Large, Extra Large
 
If you have tried D-Gel and Acacia XL and they are too small, the CCM may fit.  I am 6'3 and have never been able to wear knee shins.  They always pull off of my knee, but the CCM is slightly bigger and the knee holds tighter.  I have been wearing them for the past year and I love them!  The quality of the pad is incredible.  After a year of use, they are still like new.

Very lightweight, solid knee pad. A little firmer than D-Gels, but also doesn't have the piece that digs into your shin, so an upgrade.

I've played in hockey shinguards before, but wanted something lighter in weight. I have found these guards to be light, sturdy and a vast improvement over the D-Gel guards that are similar in design. I'm 6' and got the XL. They are a tad big, but hold in place and most importantly do not slip down exposing my knees when I go down to block a shot like the D-Gels.
